Trenchless technology

Trenchless technology is a collective name for trenchless drilling techniques that we use at Brownline. A trenchless drilling technique can be applied in the construction of underground infrastructure. Such as:

• water pipelines

• telecommunication cables

• electricity cables

• oil pipelines

• natural gas pipelines

Traditionally, the above connections are placed in dug trenches. However, this method entails many risks and inconveniences. In this way, the ground surface and the infrastructure are severely disrupted. There are always obstacles lurking around. For example, the presence of waterways, railways or protected landscapes.

With the application of trenchless technology and therefore trenchless drilling, these "obstacles" are a thing of the past. Drilling is controlled by means of the HDD technique (horizontal directional drilling). This technology ensures that pipes can pass under rivers, canals and major roads, without having to dig a trench, thereby preserving the landscape.
